Saxophone fingering chart: alto, soprano and tenor
Tap any note to see its fingering and hear it. Choose alto, soprano or tenor, then normal notes, sharps or flats. The notes are written pitch, and the fingering is the same on all three saxophones.
Reading the diagram
A filled circle is a key you press and an open circle is one you leave up. Sharps are red and flats are blue. A sharp and its matching flat use the same fingering.
Written and concert pitch
Alto (E♭) sounds a major sixth lower than written. Soprano and tenor (B♭) sound a major second and a major ninth lower.
